Oak trees


 

Oak, genus of about 450 species of ornamental and timber trees and shrubs in the beech family, distributed throughout the North Temperate Zone and at high altitudes in the tropics

Willow oak: This type has thin and straight leaves similar to willow leaves, and can be grown on sidewalks; because it adapts well to the urban climate, and it is preferable to be planted in the hibernation period, and its height reaches about 18-23 m.

White Oak: This type of oak tree takes a long time during its growth, and its height may reach approximately 3-4.5 m after 10-12 years. From 15-30 m.

Japanese Oak: It is the smallest type of oak. The height of this type is about 6-9 m, and its width reaches 6 m. The warm coastal areas are the preferred areas for its growth.

Oak tree benefits

It adjusts the level of sugar in the blood, which helps prevent diabetes, and the oak tree contains abundant amounts of carbohydrates and fiber, which are beneficial for diabetics.

The oak tree is important in strengthening the bones, and in healing many diseases that affect the bones, such as osteoporosis, as it contains many important minerals, such as phosphorous, calcium and potassium, as well as contains many nutrients that are important in strengthening the bones. It protects against diseases that affect the lungs and bronchi, helps to get rid of respiratory problems, helps in expelling phlegm, and also helps to get rid of germs that accumulate in the throat. The oak tree is important in reducing concussion. It reduces unpleasant odors that appear as a result of uterine secretions, and treats all types of vaginal secretions. The oak tree also has a property in reducing muscle contraction and pain. Oak treats mouth sores, and bleeding gums.

Treats some types of cancer, especially uterine cancer, stomach and intestine cancer. It is used to relieve dental pain. Treats urinary incontinence, as well as involuntary night urination. Oak is a tonic for children and the elderly in general. The oak tree is important in diseases that affect the heart, as it protects the arteries of the heart from atherosclerosis, strengthens the muscles of the heart, and reduces cholesterol levels in the blood. The use of red oak bark, mixed with some types of medicinal herbs, works to strengthen the heart muscles, and regulates heart rates in general.
